On MLK day I helped out with my family and my neighbors lawn I mowed for them and I weeded and pulled out the weeds.MLK day is not a day just to sit around a watch T.V. or play XBOX all day it is a day to be thankful for all MLK has done.He was a great civil rights leader and lead the bus boycott and had been in jail more than 20 times.If he was still alive today we would all be so happy for all he has done for people he saved america.After I mowed the lawn I was supposed to get 5 bucks but MLK didn’t get any money so I thought I did not need any money.That day was a day to be glad for all he has done for his people and ours.I think people don’t even know that he is the reason we live in peace.We all need to all be thankful for all he has done.If he didn’t we would be segragated all over again.Us kids need to be taught more about him.Also we think he wasn’t even alive.We thought it was always like this.
